CPRA Emerging Leaders Network

The Colorado Parks and Recreation Emerging Leaders Network (CPRA ELN) is dedicated to empowering professionals with educational, leadership and networking opportunities. Students and individuals who are employed by organizations related to the parks and recreation field are encouraged to join this network. Members range from college students to seasoned professionals and everything in between. The desired outcome of the (CPRA ELN) is to foster an environment where members can learn from each other’s experiences, promote professional development of its members, and nurture an atmosphere with opportunities to develop professional relationships.

Three-Fold Mission

1.      Recruitment - Establish an environment where professionals can exchange ideas to support the practice of providing community recreational opportunities and outreach to students in the field of Parks and Recreation and related professional training programs.

(ex. Recruitment, newsletters, highlight best practices, scholarship program, etc.).

2.      Networking - Empower professionals in Colorado to create an energetic and dynamic environment of learning and professional growth.

(ex. Social events, Take a ELN to lunch @ CPRA Conference, etc.).

3.      Professional Development - Develop CPRA professionals into future leaders to be part of and give back to the community in which we live and work.

(ex. CPRA Conference Sessions, mentor program, leadership workshops, etc.).
