CancerFit® Scholarship Information

 

The Cancer Fitness Institute has scholarships available for qualifying individuals enrolled in a Colorado based CancerFit® Exercise Program. Participants at sites offering the CancerFit® Exercise Program twice a week are eligible for scholarships. Participants at sites offering the CancerFit® (Lite) Exercise Program once a week are not eligible for scholarships.

The following table shows financial eligibility based on the number of family members and annual income levels. These figures are for the size of family unit supported by total GROSS household income- gross income is money made by the individuals BEFORE taxes.

In order to verify income for the application process, the program participant will need to provide the CancerFit® Coordinator/Instructor with one of the following for each member of the household that receives income:

1. Pay stubs for a full month from the participant and spouse/partner
2. Retired individuals: Copy of Income Tax Return Form 1040 or Social Security
3. Medicaid/Medicare or Disability: copy of check or other official letter verifying eligibility
4. Unemployed: copy of unemployment check or other official letter verifying eligibility

To apply for a scholarship, the CancerFit® Coordinator/Instructor will need to complete the CancerFit® Scholarship Application and submit it along with supporting documentation to the Cancer Fitness Institute via email.
