The Certified Pool Operator (CPO) course, developed by the National Swimming Pool Foundation and unified under the new Pool and Hot Tub Alliance, has a lineup of qualified instructors. They represent the best available knowledge with the ability to instruct people on how to maintain public pools and spas. The examination is given at the completion of the course. Graduates will receive a certificate, suitable for framing, and a wallet card issued by the NSPF.
Jeff Maxey was an aquatics professional in the state of Colorado, helping educate individuals and municipalities on proper pool operations. The mark he made in aquatics in the state of Colorado has been significant and undeniable, and with his unexpected passing we have commemorated him by naming this class after him.
Any registrants who have a current CPO certification may opt out of the full class by taking the Pool Operator Primer online course. By choosing this option, you will be provided with an online code to access the course. Successful completion earns the student a Record of Completion, which the student must bring to the final day of review and test on Friday, February 21 from 8:00am-2:00pm.
