Join the CPRA Legislative Committee in a rousing session on Advocacy for the Public Employee. On December 6th at 12:00 p.m. online to learn about how you can have a positive impact for Colorado and Parks & Recreation. 


Geoff Wilson is an experience lobbyist with MDK Law and is leading the effort to renew the Colorado Lottery Division.  He will share his tips, tricks, and stories, on how to have an impact when talking to State Legislators or your City Council. 


Geoff Wilson is special counsel at the law firm of Murray Dahl Kuechenmeister Renaud, LLP. The firm is general municipal counsel to 7 municipalities and special counsel to over 30 others. Geoff joined the firm last Fall, after serving for 29 years as the General Counsel and a lobbyist for the Colorado Municipal League. Geoff is about to work his 36th legislative session of the Colorado General Assembly as a lobbyist. In his law practice, he focuses on a wide array of municipal law issues, including sales and use tax, elections and campaign finance, TABOR, conflicts of interest and  open meeting/open records. As a lobbyist, Geoff represents the City of Northglenn and the Colorado Communications and Utility Alliance, as well as serving as the statewide coordinator of Keep It Colorado, the coalition to pass continuation of the State Lottery division at the Statehouse in 2018.
