Colorado Parks and Recreation Association

CPRA is host to 8 sections with varying interests and specialties.  

They are:

Aquatics ~ for aquatic, pool management, lifeguarding, swim lesson and patron safety professionals

Colorado Assocation of Senior Centers (CASC) ~ for professionals providing services to seniors and active adults

Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA) ~ for professionals providing youth and young adult recreational sports in track, tennis, gymnastics, in-line hockey, volleyball, swimming and many more.

Colorado Therapeutic Recreation Society (CTRS) ~ for professionals providing recreation and leisure for individuals with disabilities, both in community and clinical settings in the state of Colorado.

Directors ~ for professionals in management and organizational leadership positions.

Facility Managers~ for professionals specializing in recreation facility management of all types.

Fitness ~  for professionals specializing in all varieties of fitness and wellness areas.

Parks ~ for professionals in the maintenance, care, development and creation of parks and open space in Colorado.

Small Communities/Western Slope ~ a group for recreation and parks professionals providing services in small communties (under 50,000 people) and for those living on the Western slope of Colorado.
